Esme let out a squeal of laughter which prompted Kara to look up from The View. She found her niece staring right at her with a perplexed expression. “Aunt Kara, don’t be silly! Aunt Lena’s not a popsicle. She’s a human bean like my mommies! You can’t lick her!”
The blonde let out a strangled and mortified yelp.
It’s not polite to eavesdrop on people's mental pining, Es!“Excuse me?” Lena raised an entertained yet bemused eyebrow in Kara’s direction.
In fact everyone seemed to pause their conversations and turn around to stare at Kara expectantly.
