To pup his Ser and not even send a bit of help, to not entreat Duncan to stay at Summerhall for his pregnancy – that was a cruelty that Egg couldn’t envision his father undertaking. But here they were, his Ser feeding a chunky babe at his breast while he visibly tried to find a way to refuse to return to their home.
