İnsan evladı bir yol aradı, hem kendini yüceltmek hem de iyi olduğunu göstermek için. Fakat ardındaki felaket bu ilelebet halinin yol açtığı özgüvendi. İnsan bekledi ve istedi. Fakat eline verilen kuru topraklar tabanı çatallaşmış nehirler ve ince dallar. Ellerinden çıkmamış gibi yaptıkları ölümler ve gelmeyecek günlerdi. İnsan arzuladı arzuladıkça tanrıyla bir olduğunu zannetti. Göklere meydan okudu. Arşla eşit olmak istedi. Mükemmel bir kudrete sahip olmayı arzuladı. Lakin, kader kederlidir. Gözyaşı sığdır. İnsanın açlığı, yolunu daima lanetlerle çizmiştir. Doyumsuzluklarıyla kuruttukları bataklıklarda yetişir lotus çiçeği. Yaprakları ziftle siyahlaşmıştır. Yalnız çiçeğin yapraklarını acımasızca yolmuşlardır. Şimdi, göğsüne sonsuz hasretin bıçakları saplanacak. Ölülerin çığlıklarını duyacak ellerini kürek kemiklerinde hissedecek.
