It makes Vi miss her so bad. Her sadness is getting all mixed up with lust and everything hurts so much more. Such a noxious combination makes Vi antsy with her amorousness, desperate to do something incredibly stupid, like move out of her shitty apartment and drain her measly savings on an engagement ring and propose to Cait without even discussing it and ultimately sighing in relief when Cait simultaneously surprises her with a ring as well as a joint lease on the modest home where they’ll spend the rest of their days together.
It could be perfect, Vi thinks, before taking a deep breath and focusing on the matter at hand. Some fantasies had to remain on the back burner for now, but not all of them.
(Or: Vi and Caitlyn have video phone sex while Caitlyn is away on a business trip.)
