What he’s chasing. An excuse to rip himself apart. Something to justify the pain that he’s constantly in. To make it logical.
Louis, whatever reasons may motivate him, is willing to hold his hand and then give him something to scream about.
It’s more like vivisection. Like Louis has laid his knife aside, cracked open his ribcage with one good push, and reached into the cavern of his abdomen for some organ Armand has never seen. Who can really say what their lungs look like? Their heart? Their stomach?
Don’t look, he thinks. Don’t look, don’t look, don’t look.
“Don’t look,” Armand pleads, watery and small, and he means don’t stop."
