“What-” Louis almost didn’t recognise his own voice, it sounded so timid and shaky. “What are you going to-”
The man chuckled. “I’m going to fuck you, pretty boy."

Summary
Experience a tale of passion, betrayal, and redemption, where every kiss is a battle won and every embrace is a victory over fear and secrets. This story is about telling the truth and never being ashamed about who we love.
If you are looking for an entire retelling of The Lord of The Rings with the premise of Gimli and Legolas being secretly married for years, then this is the story for you.
(Story complete)
____“It’s me,” said Legolas, as if Gimli would not be able to recognize him even blind, deaf, and probably with a concussion too.
The elf stepped into the moonlight, allowing the soft glow to illuminate his features, so achingly beautiful that for a moment Gimli thought maybe he still had a few tears left to cry after all. Legolas moved closer, the wrap of food held out like a truce, and a gentle smile played on his lips.
Gimli threw the axe.
It hit the stony frame of the window, on purpose, yet still close enough to Legolas’ face to seem menacing. “The door was locked for a reason. Only your arrogant ass would think it was an invitation to enter my room from the balcony.”

Summary
The Light, The Luxon's glittering scripture gilded into towering stained glass cathedrals as voices raised together in reverence for its luminosity. These hymns had been impressed into him from the time Essek was old enough to stand beside his mother in the sun and mumble them without crying from the headache.
But Essek does not find faith in grand things, cannot worship the gilded or glowing. He finds devotion in the small and ephemeral, tiny, tender things he can hold in his trembling hands and revere in his own careful, casual ways.
The needle prick of kitten claws climbing his leg seeking warmth, the glow of morning sun through copper curls, frosting smeared playfully across his nose by dancing azure fingers, laughter and warmth late into the night, of space held and space occupied and space aching with absence.
These small, mundane things, held reverent in his heart like the holiest scripture

Summary
Caleb's history with Trent was worse than he had ever been able to explain aloud. He didn’t want anyone to know. Wanted to forget.
Trent Ikathon needed to bring Bren, Caleb, back into their little family. Need to remind him where he belonged. To whom he belonged.
Essek would have sobbed if there was anything left in him to move or break. Trent had taken all that away piece by piece. He lay still where he had been left, crushed under the weight of the pain of the last hours, of the endless days of torture, kept in a timeless demi-plane until time lost meaning.
But he didn’t have a choice.
Caleb needed him.
Set after The Things He Took, but not necessary to understand.
