Summary
Lies and more lies spell trouble. Riz receives a phone call that his mom is in a mysterious coma and he is forced to keep quiet about it. The person he wants help from the most – Fabian – is out of the picture, out at sea with no crystal signal and Riz has nowhere to turn. Of course, our favorite lie-based demon is involved.

“You look… well,” Fabian said stiffly, eyeing Riz in his suit.
“So do you,” replied Riz, doing the same.
Why had Fig put them right next to each other at the head table? Did she hope something was going to happen, that old feelings would rekindle and they’d get back together again? Because it sure as hell wasn’t going to happen, despite her wishes. Alcohol would get them through this, and so when the waiter came around with a tray full of champagne flutes, Fabian stopped him and grabbed four glasses off the tray before letting him continue on his rounds. He passed two of the flutes to Riz before shooting back one of them.
“Oh, we’re going to do this?” asked Riz.
“If I need to be cordial with you for the next four to five hours, then I’m not doing it sober,” griped Fabian.-- or --
After a messy breakup some years back, Fabian and Riz are reunited for Fig and Ayda's wedding. Will they be able to put aside past differences and not cause a scene? Can the past be mended?

Summary

*Riz only knows Fig, Gorgug, and Kipperlillly because they all attend the same kindergarten and elementary school. Fabian is privately tutored, Adaine lives in Fallinel, and Kristen does go to the same school but her parents won't let her play with "green folk" so they don't really know each other.
