“Why you?”
Foggy’s asking the right question from the wrong perspective. The real question is why him? Why would anyone send Foggy after Daredevil unless they knew? Why would they turn Foggy into this lifeless automaton, so devoid of joy and humanity?
Because Vanessa Fisk has an axe to grind, and she evidently wants to wear it down to nothing.
"Who are you?"
This time, Foggy has questions.
Matt does his best to answer, but they don't get far.

Summary
When Matt reaches out to make sure the Shadow’s hair hasn’t fallen over his eyes, his palm brushes the Shadow’s forehead. He pauses.
There are only two men in this world whose faces he’s touched and both are dead. One hadn’t had a brow like this, more of a prominent ridge that Matt never felt on himself as he grew older.
The other was smoother, squarer. Like this one.
Foggy gets Winter Soldiered.
Matt doesn't handle it well.

Summary
Follow thy fair sun, unhappy shadow,
Though thou be black as night
And she made all of light,
Yet follow thy fair sun unhappy shadow.Follow her whose light thy light depriveth,
Though here thou liv’st disgraced,
And she in heaven is placed,
Yet follow her whose light the world reviveth.Follow those pure beams whose beauty burneth,
That so have scorched thee,
As thou still black must be,
Till Her kind beams thy black to brightness turneth.Follow her while yet her glory shineth,
There comes a luckless night,
That will dim all her light,
And this the black unhappy shade divineth.Follow still since so thy fates ordained,
The Sun must have his shade,
Till both at once do fade,
The Sun still proved, the shadow still disdained.-Thomas Campion, A Book of Ayres (1601)

“Did WebMD tell you to do this?”
“No, I figured it out on my own.” Please don’t ask how, Foggy prayed. It had been just before exam season, his third year of law school, when he caught a killer head cold. He'd more or less had the apartment to himself since Matt had protectively clapped a hand over his mouth and nose and declared his intention to live at the library, and with nothing to do but cough, eat oranges, sleep, and nurse his ridiculous crush on his flatmate, well. Foggy had made an interesting discovery.
“Did it work?”
Foggy tried not to blush. “Oh yeah.”

So Foggy comes up with a solution. The dungeon owner will scene with Matt. And Foggy will be there to watch, just in case.

"I will rise therefore now, and go about in the city, by the streets, and by the open places, and will seek him that my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not."
(Song of Solomon 3.2, 1599 Geneva Bible)By the time they passed the bar, Matt had checked—more than once—that Foggy wasn't his soulmate.
"Foggy," he thought loudly as they sat side by side in the library, "Foggy, can you hear me?"

Summary
“You followed me?” Matt asks, pulling Foggy by his arm towards the front door.
“Followed you?” Foggy asks, rambling as he gamely lets himself be pulled. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, Murdock, this is my usual Friday night hangout. You know how I love synth music and sexually infused dancing and headaches.”
