Bdubs sighed, wrapping his moss blanket around himself tighter. He wasn’t built for weather like this— he could handle the cold, he thought, Bdubs wasn’t no wuss, no sir, but this was… different. It felt like the very air itself was trying to kill him, thick, suffocating snowflakes and a horrible breeze that just… yeah. Bdubs wasn’t a fan of the weather.

Summary
A peace had been put in place between Boatem and the Big Eyes after the ravager prank: there was simply no way they could top something quite so extreme. That said, there was no personal peace treaty between the groups, which meant that as long as the giggling duo making their way to the Big Eye Bay weren’t acting on behalf of Boatem, they were perfectly fine to continue.

“Oh… y’know,” Etho said, in reference to the other’s earlier question, “Just- the usual, for when someone can’t sleep, I guess? Nightmares,” He elaborated when Bdubs gave him a look.
“Ahhh, I see, I see,” He nodded, “Do you wanna talk about them? If it’s anything in particular- unless-” Bdubs’ brow furrowed for a second, “Is it..?”
Etho cleared his throat, awkwardly looking at the ground and pointedly not answering the question. He should’ve known he couldn’t get away with a half-truth for too long. Bdubs was smarter than people gave him credit for- with a knack for guessing to boot.or
etho cant sleep, so he goes to bdubs' base for help. it doesnt take long for bdubs to find out why.

Bdubs stumbles across a little gift (or prank, depending on how you look at it) in his base, only to find the thing he was expecting to be there, missing. Cue Etho and his mischievous actions.
Takes place in season 7 with the whole "end rod of shame" thing. Just a silly little thing to (hopefully) mediate all the last life angst.
