Summary
Two years—or several, depending on how you count it—into this “boyfriends” thing, and sometimes it still feels like Donghyuck and Jaemin are playing lead roles in an elaborate romantic tragedy. Shakespearean levels of utter fucking bullshit, all the time, five neat acts be damned. Oh well. At least they both like roleplaying.

Summary
It’s not until the seventh time they have sex that Donghyuck notices something is up.
-
“And that’s why you’re acting so nice? Cause you—feel like—that?”
“What do you think?”
Donghyuck’s next noise is frustrated. Exasperated, except Jaemin’s pointer finger dips inside for half a second and it evaporates into another whimper. Jaemin knows which buttons to press. His back arches the smallest amount, pushing back into the finger, and Jaemin’s mind starts to melt. “Why can’t you just answer a fucking question for once in your life?”
“I don’t know,” Jaemin breathes. He shuffles forward on Donghyuck’s thighs, letting his cock settle against the curve of Donghyuck’s ass. “Maybe if you ask me a clear, direct question I will.”

Summary
It started like this:
Donghyuck had said, “You know there’s this new transfer at the office."
“He’s very handsome. Good at his job– but he works too hard, in my opinion. Everyone adores him.”
And Jaemin knew what he was doing.
Always trying to start trouble, his Donghyuckie.

Summary
Skin and bone, summer solstice, sun-kissed Donghyuck. Curiously damaged, stubborn and volatile Donghyuck.
Only once Donghyuck's already fallen asleep is when Jaemin realises how when the smog had cleared, there was a pain there that Jaemin thinks he recognises.
(Jaemin’s trying to solve a Donghyuck-shaped problem.)

Summary
Way back when Donghyeok was younger and hadn't tasted the fame he dreamt of, he thought that he and Jaemin would be a constant, a forever. As he grew up, he realised that dreams and asipirations aren't linear. He learns that pride kills and love doesn't last. His love for Jaemin turns to resentment in the years apart, even when his heart still skips a beat at the sight of him on the red carpet. Jaemin always thought their love would transcend time itself. The universe tied their souls together for a reason, people say. Neither of them have been particularly good at finding it so far in their lives. It doesn't make them love eachother any less.
Or, Donghyeok bumps into Jaemin four years after breaking up with him and sets a series of consequences in motion that he tries so hard to fight against, even when he knows he shouldn't.
