Summary
Being in love with your best friend can be difficult in any setting, really. But being in love with your best friend, who is the same sex as you, when you are a world-famous idol from a highly conservative and judgmental country had its own level of difficulty. Hongjoong had always known that romantic relationships would not be easy work for him as a gay idol. He had not considered, however, how messed up the situation could be when the person he was head over heels for was his group member and best friend.
Like now, when the monster was begging for Seonghwa to be close.
Hongjoong shifted his body on the bed so that Seonghwa could lie down next to him, and he felt the mattress dip under his weight. His heart had started beating frantically but to no end, as he could not do any of the things he wanted to- reach out to hold Seonghwa’s hand, tuck his head under his chin, or give him a little peck on his cheek. Instead, he decided to distract himself by talking.
OR
Hongjoong and Seonghwa end up sharing a bed after a stage and wake up cuddling. Things escalate.

Hongjoong is perfectly fine with having to share his college dorm with a roommate. But it is not fine that his roommate is hot—like, ungodly levels of attractive. And it doesn’t help that Hongjoong can’t seem to get a moment to himself in their shared dorm to really let out his pent up… uh, frustrations.

Summary
“Would it hurt to let go for one night?” Seonghwa asks suddenly as he lazily drops his head onto his propped up hand. “Hongjoong-ah, be free at least once in your life.”
“What?” Hongjoong chuckles, not quite sure what his best friend tries to tell him. They are free to do what they want, no? Seonghwa still gazes up at him with lidded eyes. He is clearly as drunk from the alcohol as Hongjoong, but he seems as if he knows exactly what he is talking about. “I don’t understand.”
The older man straightens, hands falling on the table and pulls his bottom lip between his teeth before letting it go with a huff. “Come on, Joongie,” he says, his voice low and there is something teasing in his tone. “We’re young, in love and drunk. Let’s have fun for once.”
