Summary
The Consolidation had sent Simon down to die. They hadn't even told him there would be a dragon down there, much less a titan wing. It wouldn't have mattered much—they wanted it to bite Simon's cage, get a few teeth, maybe a scale. Simon was bait, they didn't care if he was willing as long as he had a beating heart that the thing could track.
How was he alive?
He pulled himself further from the water, sliding up to sitting properly. He was in a cave—which—what the hell. That couldn't—

Summary
Megatron doesn't know if what his systems perceive is real or an illusion created by his own processor, searching for a reason to not abandon his decision. He has left his faction, becoming a traitor to his own people in search of redemption, and perhaps, also to pursue that unspoken love he thought was extinct. The tension on the Ark only increases, and his relationship with the new Prime brings back tormenting memories. Despite trying to escape them, he ends up finding refuge in the owner of those memories: Optimus Prime.
Optimus, as imposing and helpful as he was sullen. The typical Alpha, currently feigning a nonchalance completely unlike him, but who somehow ended up acting in a strangely comforting and familiar way. No matter how many times he tried to run from him, something inside him seemed to want to take hold, to live in his system like a parasite, slowly consuming him to the core.
Megatron persists, picking at that unhealed wound, injecting himself and getting drunk on something he doesn't believe is appropriate, without realizing at what point he goes from being the hunter to the prey.
"And damn it, if you didn't love me the same way... why were you acting like that?"

The Eridians discover a fellow omega on a mysterious blood moon. Grace has always had a thing for omegas despite also being one. He hopes he does lose the last connection to humanity he has.
Simon wakes up in a place that is unlike anything he’s seen. A nervous man says that he is free from Eden and the COI. He survived and now gets to live with the beautiful omegan man.

Grace pressed his lips together and hummed curiously. “That’s a tank of blood?”
“Yes. We need your help studying what’s inside.”
“You mean the blood?” He frowned. “Are you sure you don’t have anyone better for this? Like, aren’t there doctors who spend their entire lives analyzing blood? Surely they’d be—”
He was cut off as a loud thud made him jump. For a brief second, an inhuman hand pressed against the glass. It had five long, thin fingers, with thin membranes stretching between each to make it webbed.
Grace gulped.
