“I still think we can reach our goals,” Hao refused. “We just need to improvise. Do you feel up to the challenge?”
The words lit up a fire in Hanbin. Their eyes met again, and this time, he wouldn’t step back.
“Of course I can finish the job. Can you?”
Hao smiled excitedly, that same fire reflected in his dark eyes.
“Oh, you bet I can. Let’s show them we’re not that easy to stop.”

Summary
It's fitting that he realises he loves Hanbin while he's watching him tear out another tribute's throat with his teeth. He had expected that it would be earth-shattering, maybe, something similar to the depictions in the romance novels he used to read. But Zhang Hao only traces Hanbin's form on the screen, his staunch refusal to cede victory, and thinks oh, I love him.
If only Zhang Hao knew winning the Games would be the easy part.
