Summary
A collection of ficlets and snippets inspired by Tumblr and #xmentales chat.
So far: Charles is a cat or a Renaissance-era muse or a professor or an imprisoned high-level telepath or a young man of the senatorial class in Rome or an Oceanid. Meanwhile, Erik is sick or a talented but struggling painter or a graduate student or a spy searching for his missing telepath or a former gladiator-turned-slave or a pirate. Also they are both seahorses. Or fae. Or gods. Or platypuses. Or genetically-modified fruit. Or space travelers. Or on a date. And there's one with Wesley Gibson and Brandon Sullivan. And one with Wesley again, but also Max, Simon, and Brian. And a couple of A/O snippets, one on a boat and one in a bedroom.

Summary
He stares at the unopened envelope, sitting at the end of the bench. There are essentially two possibilities: it’s either a confession (I loved you. Always did, always will. Sorry I never said it, sorry it never was. But I’m saying it now…) or it’s a final refusal (Let it go, Maverick. Yes, you were right. Times are ah changing. It’ll be better for our kids and their kids after them. But you and I are old dogs, so let’s let it lie.)
Maverick’s not sure which one would hurt less.

Summary
Sometimes, Ice thinks that he imagined it. Like his brain came up with a detailed, eight-year-long fever dream where Mav stood beside him, practically as his husband, split the duties in raising Jake, and then ran scared.
He wishes he had warned Penny Benjamin. If Ice was a more genial person, he thinks they could really have a cathartic night over a bottle or two of wine.

Summary
If it was 800 AD, Erling Haaland would be raiding distant shores and killing wild boar on the ice. Instead, it’s the year 2026, so he’s been planted on a football pitch instead and pointed towards the other goal, and he’s storming the opposing team like it’s war, knocking over players like he’s in armor and they’re starving villagers with wooden swords. Jude has always thought so, at least.
He’s always thought too much about Erling.
