It’s a hairband when my one snapped the day before. It’s a chocolate bar when I have low blood sugar. It’s… it’s crap.”
Kara gasped in outrage at the descriptor. “It’s not crap!”

Summary
Kara has decided to take a vacation to visit her parents in Argo City. When she arrives, she finds out they’ve built a guest house for her in hopes of her visiting more often. To her shock and surprise they mention that they’ve put her name into the matrix to find a match, and they have found her match and invited him to dinner. She promptly panics and tells them that she’s already engaged… to Lena. Cue shenanigans as Lena agrees to her plan and shows up on Argo to act as her fake wife-to-be. Over the course of a few weeks, they fight their feelings for each other but it becomes increasingly difficult as they become more affectionate towards each other. Will they end up together in the end?

Peter gives her a look out of the corner of his eye, soft and searching. His mouth quirks up into a half-smile.
Which is rude. She's still trying not to think about him. She's been trying not to think about the way he had cradled her face earlier when he saved her from the wreckage in Manhattan; like she was something precious.
