  Summary

  With less than twelve hours before surrendering herself into Alliance custody, Commander Shepard is putting one foot in front of the other to see her crew to safety. The ghosts of the Alpha Relay are biting at her heels, but she can't face them while people are relying on her. If she pauses, she'll go mad. She might be going mad, anyways, but that remains to be seen.

  When Garrus confronts her about her decision to submit to arrest, Shepard lets herself have one wish, one chance, at something better, until the clock runs out.
