Cuma Soobin yang tetep nekat masuk ke kamar Yeonjun diam-diam. Protokol tim malem itu nyerah karena Soobin maunya tidur bareng Yeonjun, pacarnya. Soobin udah gak tahan kangen ke Yeonjun. Sayangnya Yeonjun lagi ngelive dan sejam lebih, terus Soobin ngocok depan Yeonjun waktu dia ngelive. Soobin gak peduli udah terlanjur enak ngocok liatin wajah Yeonjun.

Namun, kedekatan itu justru mengantar mereka berdua pada sebuah rahasia medis ganjil yang selama ini tersimpan rapat. Sebuah rahasia yang tidak hanya akan meretakkan kepercayaan Soobin, melainkan mengunci takdir keduanya dalam satu lingkaran mati yang tak lagi menyisakan jalan keluar.

The smug, cooing edge in the alpha's voice rubbed him the wrong way, and oh, how he wanted to beat some sense into the alpha.
“Listen, pup,” Yeonjun gritted through his teeth instead, holding onto the edge of the table to refrain himself from actually punching Soobin’s pretty face and tuning out the alpha's scent to keep an edge to his voice, “I’m not sure if you know how it works, but the older I get, the harder it’ll be for me to give you an heir.”

Soobin hears the sigh of relief Yeonjun lets out, feeling the weight on his chest get worse, like a hand pressing down on him. He didn't realise how bad things had gotten, that hearing just a few words from Soobin was enough to take away so much stress from Yeonjun. He's always tried to be as small a burden on Yeonjun as he could be, but he knew it was never enough. He was always too much.

Yeonjun starts the year by asking for a break, and Soobin learns the hard way that losing his boyfriend meant almost losing his entire world.
