Elliott smiles as he hears your approaching footsteps through the house. He stirs breakfast around the pan, ready to gather the mug of coffee he's prepared. "Good morning, my dear! I think today will be a- mmph!"
He's caught off guard as you grab him by the shoulders, turning him and kissing him with a striking intensity. He stumbles slightly, catching himself on the counter.

Summary
On the eve of a new neighbor moving to town, Elliott finds himself discouraged and out of inspiration. Somewhere far away, a lonely man decides to make a fresh start in his life. Their stories are told through the records they write of their own experiences.
This is planned to be a longfic slowburn romance following a new game of Stardew from primarily Elliott's perspective, written in epistolary format through journals, letters, and other communications. Additional character and plot tags will be added as they appear. Total chapter count is currently a rough estimate and may change.

"I've never..." You gesture vaguely, unable to meet his eye. Your hands are shaking. Your whole body is shaking. You're so nervous, so terrified of making a fool of yourself - more than you already have in all your time living here.
Warm hands cradle your face, thumbs running along your cheekbones as they guide you to look at him. The distilled embodiment of a warm autumn afternoon, caught in golden sunlight and as refreshing as a cool breeze.
Elliott smiles. "I know, my dear. You told me that kiss we shared on the boat was your first. I imagine you wouldn't have gone much further than that."
Your face heats up under his knowing gaze. Of course he could tell you're a virgin. It must be obvious to someone like him.
He presses his lips to your forehead, stealing your spiraling thoughts. "It's alright, my heart. Allow me to guide you. We'll move at your pace, and if there's anything you don't like, we will figure it out. Yes?"

You helped pack his bags, making sure he had everything he'd need. You made crab cakes as a good luck, celebration dinner. You kissed him slow and savoring, holding onto him all night.
