    Summary

Jayce didn’t come to teach at Piltover University to develop a minor (read: major) obsession with Viktor, but here he is. The man is infuriatingly brilliant, dryly condescending, and has probably already dismissed Jayce as an overeager idiot. Fine. Jayce can live with that. What he can’t live with is the fact that he keeps seeking Viktor out anyway—asking too many questions, reading too many of his papers, lingering in his presence like some lovesick grad student. This isn’t a crush. It’s an intellectual challenge. At least, that’s what he’s telling himself.

    or

Jayce Talis, a young and ambitious professor, gets an opportunity he didn’t dare dream about - teaching at the Piltover Tech University. There, he meets Viktor - a slightly older, respected and extremely reserved colleague of his. Jayce is somewhat intrigued with the man, his studies in particular. He finds the way Viktor’s brain works fascinating - like his opinions and theories are somehow a puzzle piece that would complete Jayce’s own research. Jayce’s academic interest, though, turns into infatuation and full-blown obsession with the man rather than his studies.

    Summary

A priest's role is one of guidance, discipline, devotion, and absolution—a shepherd tending to his flock, a servant of God who stands as an intermediary between the sinner and salvation.

But what happens when that priest is also the instrument of suffering? When his hands, meant for blessing, become the hands that punish, that test, that push a soul to its limits before granting the mercy of release?

And what happens when another man—a fellow priest, a scholar of faith—kneels not before God, but before him?

    Summary

Jayce, a noble in Romanized Greece, receives a gift: a curious offering—neither quite a man, nor merely a slave. A symbol of Roman dominion over a once-great empire.

Still, Rome could not help but steal Greece’s wisdom, even as it loathed its softness. And what greater barb was there, if not a philosopher in chains?

    Summary

Jayce Talis needs to get out of New York. His publisher calls it a “creative retreat,” but Jayce knows better. His work is slipping, the city feels too loud, too suffocating. So he drives—somewhere quieter, somewhere slower. He rents a room in a small town that barely exists on a map, tells himself it’s just for the summer.

He isn’t looking for a muse.

But then there’s his new landlord—Viktor.

Sharp-eyed, sharp-tongued, cigarette in hand. Unbothered by the heat, unimpressed by Jayce, unreadable in a way that makes Jayce want to study him a little too long.
