“Lan Zhan?” Wei Wuxian asked, looking at his husband.
There was something odd to the way he stood, staring off a little too absentmindedly for his usual stoic and aware self. He shifted slightly, the only visual cue the way the hems of his long robes caught on the crisp, dry grass, tugging lightly at the layers of silk as Lan Wangji moved nearly imperceptibly on the spot. It was something Wei Wuxian had never seen his husband do — not in the long while they’d been married nor before.
While supervising a junior night hunt, Wei Wuxian realises that his husband's earthly needs can't wait any longer.
