But you remember he’s not someone you’re trying to impress—you guys are on the same level of societal servitude anyway (though in general Lane is some levels lower than you considering…his personality).
“Yes! I am. That’s why even if I wanted to—which would never happen—it just wouldn’t be good for you. I don’t know what I’m doing,” you shrug, slightly proud at yourself for your answer since Lane finally stops spouting words for a few moments.
That is until he blurts, “Well, since you’ve been saving yourself for me, I could teach you.”
