Summary
Ash is the type of person that likes to sleep in late. The only part he hates is waking up. It's a long, slow process, and usually takes a cup of coffee until he's anywhere near alive.
Eiji knows all this - he's slept next to Ash, opened the blinds every morning, and made those cups of coffee. It's their routine they've had for years, steady and familiar.
So then why the hell is Eiji shaking him awake on a Saturday morning?

Summary
He turns to Eiji, who’s stopped messing with his camera; instead, he’s openly staring at Ash like he’s never seen him before. “What flavour do you want?”
“You- What?” Eiji continues to look at him, eyes wide.
“Eiji. Ice cream. Flavour.” Ash can’t help but smirk - he knows exactly what’s tripping Eiji up.- Language:

Summary
It's a warm day, brilliantly shimmering sun with clear bright blue skies. The sliding door to their small balcony left open for fresh air, the sheer white curtains softly billowing in the wind. The breeze picks up and Ash sleepily squints as it gently ruffles through soft golden locks.
And then he catches sight of Eiji, bustling in the kitchen and making lunch for two with the radio on, its pleasant tunes softly drifting through the apartment. Eiji hurries about amongst white porcelain plates and mugs neatly tucked away in their pale oak cabinets, pots and pans efficiently hung up on hooks by the stove next to organized jars of sugar, salt and flour. Eiji’s holding a spatula in one hand, a large mixing bowl in the other. Fresh cut sunflowers decorate the windowsill to his right; Eiji remembered they’re Ash’s favorites.
Ash stands in awe of this mundane moment in their daily lives.
Nothing feels more like home than Eiji like this, Ash thinks to himself.

Summary
Date night in 1980's New York.
The heavy pitter patter of rain, crossed ankles under a diner table, secret glances over the menu.
Against all reason Ash wants nothing more but to stay, and Eiji gives him a million unspoken reasons to never leave.
