Grace is so bored.
He loves the biodome and everything the Edrians have done for him. He does a lot of course: studies and experiments with Adrien, farm now that they got plants and topsoil figured out, hang out with Rocky, teach his class, swim in the lake, watch movies and videos provided by Stratt when she sent him to space with everything humanity created pirated on a couple laptops. It's nice he's definitely not complaining. He's very happy with the life and opportunities he's been gifted with.
But now he's been doing those same six things for a long long time. He desperately wants to try something new.

It's come in handy during many nightmares and Rocky is ecstatic to have a new way to help. During Grace's latest nightmare, Rocky goes to put weight on his back to soothe him. It doesn't work. It really, really doesn't work.

Adults don’t babble for their parents after a nightmare. His skin doesn’t crawl, there’s no sense of impending doom, there’s no danger crawling up from the shadows, and there’s certainly nothing wrong with Rocky- he’s in the next room over, the same place he’s been for the last few days, working on his project alone, just like he wanted-
Grace is tired. He’s so, so tired.
Or: Grace and Rocky have an argument that results in them avoiding each other, which leads Grace to realise he's become more reliant on Eridian customs then he first thought.
