Summary
Despite the danger, Curt went back to look for Owen in the explosion. At least, he tried. Owen wasn't there where he had fallen, and Curt could have sworn he saw something move just outside of reach, before he inevitably passed out from the smoke. And everything in his life went to shit after that.
The story goes on the same, but this tiny detail might be able to save the story from ending the way it did.

Sarcean paced back and forth in the empty throne room. The last letter sent from the Sun Palace arrived around two weeks ago (fifteen and a half days, to be exact). The letter had been opened and closed way too many times during the fifteen days, the edges of the small piece of parchment torn and cracked. And right now the letter was held in Sarcean’s fists too tightly, not even an inch of it was spared from wrinkling, and the ink had started to blur.
I will arrive in a fortnight. Everything is arranged—I had overseen the final preparations. It is ready, as I am. This is my first official Kinktober! Last year I did write one PWP during October to feel it out, but this time I'm actually (semi-)following the prompt list.
I decided to mix prompts of different days & skipping prompts that I don't want to write about, so I will be posting significantly less than 31 fics and also posting them out of the days order. Some of them are going to be long because they will have a bunch of plot and world building, and the PWP ones will hopefully be long too because I'll include multiple kinks into one fic!

Summary
Some of these works started as Kinktober 2026 submissions, but now here I am, planning them into 8 fics for my bsd BDSM au (yayy!)
The fics in this series are not written nor posted in a chronological order. I would probably arrange them in a certain order once they are all posted, though.
These fics are stories spread out in between around two years before the Mimic situation and the four years after that.AU summary:
BDSM/Canon divergent AU

Important plot event:
- Oda doesn’t have the five orphans kids to take care of.
- Mimic is dealt with by Dazai planning long game and Ango providing a troop assigned to come deal with Mimic. They set a trap spanning days and a large area to get a hold Gide, the trap shrinks once Gide is caught until he has spent all his ammo and can no longer avoid getting touched by Dazai, allowing the small troop Ango brought to detain him with no problem
- After Mimic, the three use the chaos of the aftermath to get away from Port Mafia once and for all. Ango helps getting them off government’s radar and keeps the job.- Words:

Atsushi hit by an ability that takes the last several years of his memory, including his relationship with Akutagawa. Akutagawa spirals trying to help his boyfriend who now hates him, as Atsushi gets to know his worst enemy.

On the kitchen’s table there was a lily bulb in a yellow vase. Atsushi brought it home a few weeks before and told him it was for him to water and grow. He promised to take care of it. Not slaughtering his enemies wasn’t enough anymore; he needed to make something live.

Summary
It can’t end like this. Atsushi has mere minutes left, maybe less, and he can’t die listening to Akutagwa’s scolding and insults. Comfort has never come easily to Akutagwa, but he has to try. Atsushi deserves that much, at least.
But Akutagawa can’t think of what to say. He can’t tell Atsushi that it’s fine, that he’ll be okay, or any of those trite, hollow reassurances. It’s not okay, and perhaps it never will be again — not without Atsushi.
In his last moments, bloody and painful though they are, Atsushi deserves better than lies. So Akutagawa instead settles on the deepest truth he knows. Perhaps, here and now, the only truth.
“You can’t die, you useless overgrown cat,” Akutagawa snarls, half-choking on a sob. “I love you, so you can’t die. Not when I love you.”
Thinking Atsushi is dying in his arms, Akutagawa confesses his love, knowing he’ll never have another chance.
But of course Atsushi, always the thorn in Akutagawa’s side, does something wholly unexpected.
He survives.
