Jason had known taking off the helmet back at Titan's Tower was a gamble but he couldn't help it. He wanted to scare Tim even more and what better way to do that then to show him the previous Robin who was very much alive again. Between the scars and menacing look he had on his face, Jason knew he had been pretty successful. That was until he lost control. Lost control so bad that he blacked out in a Pit-fit and the next thing he knew he was starring at a broken Tim Drake. Had he wanted to tear the replacement apart? Of course, but Jason had held himself in check because even if the kid was an alpha, he was still that, a kid.

Born into Crime Alley, he realized early that his biology as an Omega was a death sentence. To escape the violence and exploitation he saw daily, he dedicated himself to a desperate act: masking his nature through aggression, defiance, and sheer force of will. When he turns around, Eve’s weight sinking lower from his hands, he watches as Conquest keeps his eyes planted and takes a long lick from the blood on his arm. From wrist to knuckle his tongue picks up the gore, gaze forward, never faltering.
So, looking back, Mark should’ve known where this was going- what the man’s intent was. Total compliance and victory in more ways than one, and enough fight to rile him up in the process.
