Summary
Imagine.
A patient comes in with a simple sore throat.
That sore throat turns into a stomach disorder.
And that stomach disorder turns into cancer.Any other doctor would've brushed their hand over the case. A cup of hot tea would've probably fixed the issue. But Dr Greogory House wasn't any other doctor.
Maybe that was why she chose to test him.
___________
He was angry. And for a valid reason.
He was angry at Cuddy, he was angry at his team, but more specifically he was angry at his previous 'patient', though it wasn't very appropriate to call her that now.
A fraud, that's what he felt her like.
He wasn't angry at the fact she was pretending (which was extremely morally wrong), he was angry at the fact she dared to test him. Test his abilities. Test his intellect. Test his wit. Test everything this man was.
She acted like she was a better version than him.And the thing he hated the most
Was the fact he knew she was right.

Summary
Rodney spent the first year of the Atlantis expedition trying to remember everyone's names and credentials, where they specialized and why they were chosen for Atlantis. After losing Peter Grodin and Dumais, among others, his forgetfulness became a habit. A comfort, almost. If he didn't seem to remember them, they wouldn't be surprised when he didn't react to deaths the way everyone else did. If they thought he was an arrogant jerk all the time, they'd never realize he didn't know how to interact the way the rest of them seemed to. He could hide behind it.
So why is it he remembers Karyn Stills' name? Why does he know she's a microbiologist who has been sharing lab space with the Edaphologist while they were identifying microbes in the soil brought back from a couple of missions? And why is it she seems to be the only person short of Beckett who can interrupt whatever he's doing without consequence? Rodney has no idea. And even less idea how to handle a female asking him on a date.Series
