Summary
Marble Hornets is over. Alex Kralie is dead, Jay Merrick is dead, Brian Thomas is dead, and Tim Wright has exited stage left. Trapped in the shackles of parental obligation and the shifting hallways of a rotting mansion, Tim finds himself struggling to keep three teenage serial killers alive. Despite dwindling rations, incessant Nightcore, and the inscrutable demands of the Operator, he’s managed to carve out stability on the edge of nowhere—a stability that shatters when a familiar corpse takes a seat at their table.

“You can’t keep bringing people down on whatever fucking sinking ship you’re sailing, Mikey.”
“Sinking ship?” Mikey gawked, keeping his voice below a whisper. “What the fuck is that supposed to mean?”
“I’m saying,” the man said, bringing his face close to Mikey’s once again. Too close in this kind of environment. His heart was pounding in his ears. “You’re digging a hole for yourself, and one day it’s gonna cave in. And I won’t be there when it does. I don’t think anyone will.”

Summary
Cody gets to know his General, his daemon is obsessed with romantic holos, and he doesn't know how to stop remembering things he'd rather forget.
His General has a bird daemon he calls Peazan who hops about the command centre on the Negotiator, flashing her pink and jade neck feathers. Cody knows, though he’s now used to it, that the rest of the galaxy doesn’t allow the touching of others’ daemons, but sometimes it’s very hard not to want to hold out a finger and scratch behind her skull.
Kittila stays curled up below his breastplate when they’re outside his quarters, carefully hidden from the rest of the world.
