Summary
“Only your kid, Buck.” Eddie smirked behind his beer.
“Excuse me,” Buck squawked, “your kid has literally ubered to my place before without your knowledge.”
There was a pause and before Buck could overthink it, Eddie shrugged, pressing his knee against Buck’s, “Okay, then. Only our kids.”
Buck inhaled sharply and stared owlishly at Eddie before clearing his throat, looking away flustered. Our kids. His heart ached with a yearning he’s been trying to suppress since he realized what that feeling was.
Eddie's straight.
And a renter.
He didn’t mean it in that way.

Summary
Buck could actually melt in a puddle right now seeing the look on Theo’s face as Eddie talks to him. Eddie hands him the bowl, paper bowl, with potato chips in it and he has what Eddie calls his concentration face on with his tongue stuck out like it gives him balance. He says Buck has the same face too.
“What?” Eddie turns back to look at him once he’s seen Theo out of the door.
Buck’s so in love with him.

Summary
"Do it again."
"What?" Buck blinks in surprise, finally making eye contact with Eddie.
"Go on." Eddie motions impatiently between them. "Break up with me again. Do it properly this time."
Buck's eyes widen and his lips twist in distress. "Please don't make me do that."
"No." Eddie stubbornly crosses his arms. "Either you can explain to me why you're leaving me, in detail, or I'm not accepting it."

Summary
His mom clears her throat, squinting her eyes at Eddie. “Whose is he? Do you—Do you have a new girlfriend?”
Theo giggles and looks up at her from below. “Eddie doesn’t have a girlfriend! That’s silly!”
Eddie nearly chokes. Silly… Yeah, maybe so. “Uh—No. No girlfriend.”
“Then whose is he, Eddie?” His dad asks.
And with the comedic timing of one of those corny 90s sitcoms, Buck chooses that exact moment to walk out of the kitchen.
Or: Eddie's parents make a surprise visit for Christopher's sixteenth birthday. What they didn't expect was finding a few surprises of their own.
Or: Eddie is convinced the universe hates him when his parents come to visit. With them already believing he and Buck are together, Eddie decides to roll with it.

Summary
“Shit,” the figure swears desperately under their breath, covering Eddie’s bloodstained hands with their own. “Oh God, Eddie. You’re—fuck, okay. You’re gonna be fine. Alright? You’re gonna be fine. We just—we just have to wait until this is over. I’m here. I’ve got you.”
‘Until what is over?’ Eddie wants to ask. His head hasn’t stopped spinning, his vision going in and out of focus with every ragged breath, and it takes all of his energy to steady his eyes long enough to get a good look at the person hovering over him.
A slow, soft smile spreads across his lips.
“Chris…” he sighs with relief, reaching a shaky hand up towards the familiar head of brown curls.
or: Eddie is dying in a hospital elevator. Delirious with blood loss, he assumes Buck is Christopher, and he has something very, very important to tell his son. A 9x18 Hearts and Flowers spec(ish) fic.

Summary
Derek is tearing down the Hale house. Rebuilding on the foundation. He doesn't ask for help. Stiles shows up anyway — with a spreadsheet, a build schedule, and a group chat called "HGTV: Hell Edition."
Within six months, Stiles has nested so deeply into the territory that his scent is in the walls, he's wearing Derek's hoodies like they're his, and every wolf in the pack has quietly rearranged their life around him. He has no idea what he's doing. He thinks he's just the annoying human who does research.
Then the Alpha Council shows up, and an ancient Alpha names the thing everyone — except Stiles — has known for over a year.
Or: two people build a home together without admitting they're building it for each other.
It starts with the house.
