    Summary

“Satoru Gojo disappeared in his second year of schooling here at Tokyo. Ever since, students maintain that a curse runs on the year group like clockwork. Not one you fight, mind you – this one’s just a rumour. I can assure you that these grounds are devoid of manifested curses outside of our control.” Nanami explains.

    “What about me?” Yuuji asks.

“I… will ensure that nobody finds out about your particular curse, Itadori.”
I cannot protect you from my superiors if they find out about Ryomen Sukuna.

Or: Gojo leaves, but Geto doesn't. Later, Wasuke Itadori gets a few more final words in.

    Summary

"A boy from the Writers’ Guild? Really, son?"
Their mother's voice almost cracked at the final word. My, this must be bad. She couldn't hear Renoir, but her soft-spoken father was most likely beside Aline and holding her by the side right now. He would not intervene until Aline would relent, or explode.

"He is not a writer, Maman. How many times do I have to tell you? He's an engineer—"

Or: I can't help but wonder... what if there was a real Gustave outside the canvas?

    Summary

Seeking answers, and a chance to undo his mistakes, to see both Nie Minjuge and Jin Guangyao again, Lan Xichen turns to the shelves holding Wei Wuxian’s notes, and the array that can give it to him.
    -
“Whatever it is, it’s changed you,” Nie Mingjue says. “Sometimes it feels like you’ve turned into a ghost possessing yourself.”

It is what Lan Xichen has become, even before using the array. He did not die with Jin Guangyao, physically. But he had still turned into a ghost of himself, the melancholy that had swallowed him and the haze of unreality he lost himself in, haunted by the past. Using the array, tearing his souls apart into whatever had made the journey, had simply completed the process, made him truly possess himself.

    -

Or; A Lan Xichen centric time travel fic where it’s hard to heal from the past while living in it.

    Summary

In a city bright with the progress of the Belle Époque, Verso lives in the shadows, grief-stricken by the 'written' fire that claimed his sister. He pours his anguish into his piano, hiding from a secret war between those who paint substance and those who write destiny.

As a brilliant structural engineer, Gustave believes a beam fails because of stress, not sorcery. But when he begins to notice a pattern of architectural disasters plaguing Montmartre, his need to fix the flaws inadvertently threatens a powerful faction manipulating Paris from the shadows.

Marked for death because he refuses to accept their narrative, Gustave is pulled into Verso’s dangerous world. The pragmatist and the artist forge a partnership: Gustave provides the logic to expose the lie, while Verso finds the courage to pick up his brush and shield the man who has become his tether to the world. Together, they must dismantle a conspiracy written in stone before the ink dries on Gustave’s final chapter.

    Summary

Despite their angelic reputation, Halovians are no less bound by their bodies as anyone else. Even those supposedly perfect will have their issues, and when left to fester, they’ll only get worse. No matter how much Sunday wishes to separate himself from his body, he is now stuck in reality and forced to address the problems he had hoped to leave behind once in the blissful dream. Forced awake after so long dreaming, it’s so much worse than before, and he is no better than any fearful little charmony dove

Have you ever seen a dove try to build a nest? It’s so pathetic you just feel bad for the stupid thing.

(Sunday has a lot of problems and at this point he has no choice but to get rehabilitated by the humans around him like the neglected rescue bird he is)
