🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟THIS WAS TOO FUCKING GOOD. I loved their conversations and dry humor and banter oh my god THIS WRITING WAS PERFECT. I’m literally gonna go on this authors page and see if there’s more of their writing because I’m obsessed with this one. The banter is really what got me because you can sense that there are some underlying feelings and tension there and it was just perfect dialogue and it was just so beautiful to see their relationship progress because nothing felt forced or rushed and they have truly seen each other at their worst and still love each other despite everything. Especially jk, he’s so understanding and so thoughtful about jm the whole time they’ve known each other (and it’s a long time) and jm is just in his own head all the time and jk can see right through him and truly understands him. I was literally geeking the whole entire time and I stayed up reading this lol never mind that I have work early in the morning tmr. Jk constantly reassuring him that jm didn’t have to prove himself to anyone and was there when jm broke down twice. I don’t think I can get over this I loved their dynamic and even if it was rough at first, I liked how they apologized and talked and fixed it right away and that’s what essentially changes their whole relationship. I will forever think about the scene where Jm says “Not yet” to the kiss but then after the reception, he claims to “collect it” but they both knew something changed AAAAA just the tension and the whole thing was AMAZING!! Jm being self conscious about him owning a pottery shop but he’s actually perfect :((( and jk makes sure to let him know that!!! Wait stop i love this story dearly wow i felt so many emotions truly a 100/10 would do anything to read this again for the first time!!

My babies. Their relationship progressed so nicely and I loved how jk was so jealous. Jm really thought he could hook up with jk and let it be a one time thing but ofc jk is very hard to forget. Jk actually knowing Jm all this time while Jm thinks he didn’t even know him. “You’re hard to miss.” AND CUPCAKE OH GOFDF I LOVE WHEN a character has a nickname that they tease the other with but it ends up being a pet name after so sweet. This is too good wow. Jk convinced that no one ever loved him so when jm said it to him for the first time, he completely ran away. There were so many little details about this that I absolutely loved.. jk getting a candle that smells like vanilla (jm) or that one scene where jm was teasing jk and telling him to count to 20 and when jk opened his eyes, jms clothes were on the floor all the way to his bedroom. THOSE WERE VERY SPECIFIC LOL but every scene in this was PERFECT. I loved getting to see their relationship progress and they were truly made for each other. Jm taking jk to Busan was just the sweetest thing ever and Jm really changed Jk for the better. Jk being so in love with Jm but his avoidant ways are very much showing, I get it unfortunately, but I liked how Jm put up a little fight because I really did feel bad for Jm. Every bedroom scene was 10/10 and nothing made me happier than seeing them go from hookups to just pure love. Jm being jks muse for his whole entire album and comeback stop it my heart. I loved jms character in this so so much, I definitely enjoyed him more than jks character. He’s just a content, strong, sassy, and easy going character and his banter skills are easily the best. He teases and can be a brat but that’s what gives him so much personality. Would reread this a million more times and then pay to erase it from my mind just to read it a million times again. Truly amazing writing and work.

All I will ever know is pain. This hurts and hurts and hurts you so bad and it’s like never ending that it’s so good. There were soooo many years wasted and I do admit that Jk doing all that groveling was needed. I did understand both of their sides though and why they acted the way they did but Jm endured it for so long while Jk kept running away, never fully facing his feelings head on, and so I understood why Jm acted the way he did when Jk finally realized his feelings while Jm already accepted that Jk would never be happy with him. Everything is truly wrong timing and they only get to fixing it after probably a whole decade of knowing each other. Jms pain was sooo deep in the beginning and I liked how at the end, it sort of shifted to Jks pov and then the readers could also understand Jks pain. It was really good it made me stop and hold my heart for a sec bc it was painful lol. So beautifully written too.
