"What?", Lohen blurted. "What are you talking about?"
The worst thing was that Lohen could see Rerir smile through the bandages, but somehow that sight only freaked him out more. "Forgive me, dearest. But… It's been so long. Summary
Almost everything goes wrong in Alhaitham's mission to collect intel when the sandstorm hits, blowing him off-course. As luck would have it, Alhaitham stumbles across the camp housing the smuggled beasts, but can't make his way back as he's still lost in the vast desert.
Striking a deal with the Eremites, Alhaitham makes do of the situation he finds himself in. He was due for a vacation anyway.
