Summary
Shane wants to figure out if he's gay before he gets drafted—and no, the way he felt when Ilya Rozanov smirked at him with a cigarette between his lips in Saskatchewan has nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, the random guy he hooks up with to try and make sure one way or another takes a picture, and Shane gets outed before the draft. In the ensuing scandal, he goes seventh overall, to Ottawa.
It turns out, having the worst thing you can think of happen to you when you're seventeen years old can end up being pretty liberating. And land you an unexpected best friend.

Summary
The silverwood was gone, and with it Qifrey loses his sight, Olruggio loses his patience. The girls are terrified, but Qifrey keeps insisting he'll be fine. As he learns to live in a world gone dark, Olruggio and their apprentices must teach the one who always carried everyone else that he no longer has to bear the weight alone.
Updates every weekend. This is fully written and currently undergoing edits before posting. I recommend reading up to Chapter 93 for the full emotional payoff, though it can still be read on its own (you won't able to see the foreshadowing). The tags is also covered for upcoming chapters, btw.

Summary
The flirting was getting out of hand. When Ilya was not demonstrating his frustratingly admirable work ethic, he was sauntering over to the snack stand with one thing in mind: pretending to have any interest in Shane Hollander.
It was a cruel, sick joke.
Shane knew what was going on, and he would not be falling for it. Ilya was obviously a teasing, homophobic asshole.
From an outsiders perspective, perhaps it was not so obvious how Shane knew it was all a mean-spirited prank. To the untrained eye maybe it looked like genuine flirting on Ilya's part.
From Shane's point of view, it was as clear as the ultra chlorinated water of the pool.

Or, Lifeguard Ilya x Oblivious Snack Stand Worker Shane where Shane is convinced Ilya is only flirting as a joke. It's not a joke.

Summary
Ilya pushes Hollander off of himself so he can climb on top of him. He kisses Hollander’s neck, and starts trailing kisses down his collar bone, his pecs, and onto his stomach. It’s impossibly soft. Hollander actually whimpers when Ilya kisses the pooch below his belly button. Interesting.
