Summary
Of all the people in the hockey world and outside of it, Shane had caught the hotshot rookie’s eye. It didn’t matter that Shane had been playing professionally since Rozanov was still in primary school, and it didn’t matter that their teams had it out for each other. For at least one night, Rozanov wanted him.
Shane had given enough to hockey over the years. It was only fair to let himself have this, wasn’t it?

Summary
“Hollander,” he says flatly. “Pay attention.”
Ilya starts to turn around, and Shane finally catches sight of the number on the sleeve.
Oh.
By the time Ilya has fully rotated, Shane isn’t surprised to see that Rozanov is not the name across his shoulders. It’s Hollander.
- or, Ilya wears Shane's jersey

Summary
"Do you think…" Shane says, focusing too intensely on washing the glass, "that, um, the team will care? About us, like… being in the locker room together? Because we're married."
Ilya pauses. Shane can feel him inhale, then exhale, Ilya's chest moving against his back. Without a word, Ilya takes the glass and the sponge from Shane's hands, sets them in the sink, and then runs their hands under the water to clear the soap. He shuts the tap off and reaches for the towel, drying them both off. Shane almost smiles at how Ilya does everything for him, rather than just telling him to put the dish down.
Ilya steps back just enough to place his hands on Shane's hips and spin him around, eyeing him curiously. "What do you mean, moya lyubov?"
Shane twists his mouth to one side, fiddling with the edge of Ilya's sweater. "I was just wondering if we should, like, establish rules with how much PDA we do. I worry that being too… touchy might make people uncomfortable. Especially if we're doing it every day."
- or, 5 times PDA around the Centaurs makes Shane nervous, plus 1 time it doesn't

Summary
Luca looked uneasy, but the rest of the team tittered in excitement. Wyatt reached over and ruffled his hair. “Take a breath kid. Mom and dad are just weirdly competitive. They’re not getting divorced.”
“Well, you all heard Hollywood.” Dykstra called out. He pointed at Bood and Ilya. “Shane says five goals for the homestand. Under, and we’ll find out if Ilya can pull off a Beckham buzz cut. Matched or over, and we’re probably seeing Bood with a bear tattoo over his ass.”
Shane turned his attention back to Ilya. He tilted his head. Well?
Ilya winked at him before he reached over to shake Bood’s hand.

Summary
Shane thought that by the time he was thirty, he’d be married and on the waitlist to adopt a baby. He spent his twenties in one serious longterm relationship after another, after all.
Instead he is now twenty-nine, single for over a year and looking for a nice, stable boyfriend: preferably college educated and in the same place in life as he is.
The only problem is that the bartender at the restaurant Shane takes his dates to is the hottest man Shane has ever seen in his life.
