When he looked up from staring at the patterned carpet under his shoes, he looked at the door plate and let out a sigh of relief. He gave a weak knock on the hard wooden door of apartment two-twenty-one and waited.
He was so grateful to finally be there that he was already moving to enter when the door opened. But when the man that opened the door had black hair instead of the shorter spiked-up white he was expecting, he paused.
“Can I help you?” The man asked, a worried expression on his face. His voice is nice, Shouto thinks, something he could listen to for hours.
“...You’re not Natsuo."

Yakuza boss Endeavor’s son has been getting out of hand lately. Sneaking out, going to clubs, maxing out his credit cards… the behavior needed to stop. Endeavor looked into hiring a bodyguard the day after Shouto appeared in the news for getting kicked out of a bar.
Kirishima was the obvious choice, built like a brick shithouse with the quirk to match. Definitely one of Todoroki Enji’s better ideas.

Summary
Shit hurt. Hanta knew that, he just tried his best to only acknowledge it when he was alone. It was easier to smile through things when people were around than to react and be socially pressured to deal with it in the moment. He figured that out when he was young. He also figured out that everyone has and needs a coping mechanism.
A short and sweet piece of Aizawa and Sero helping each other out.

Summary
Physical, affectionate touch from a select group of people made him feel an increased sense of attachment, care, and joy that he hadn’t experienced before. He sat with the thought for several moments until he felt sufficiently confident with it and himself. With a new sense of clarity, he stood and headed down to the kitchen to cook dinner.
Then Kaminari rested a hand on his arm as he was stirring the noodles, and Katsuki was left more confused than before. Instead of warmth flooding through him, it was lightning, and he was certain it had nothing to do with the boy’s quirk.
(Basically just self-serving rarepair fluff. It was supposed to be a one-shot but things happen and plans change so.)
