Summary
On July 4th, 1999, the End of the World began. It lasted for 40 minutes, before being brought to a stop by the Chainsaw Devil.
All that remained of Tokyo was a concrete wasteland.
The Chainsaw sat in the rubble, alone with his sins. Unable to move past his grief, he embarks on a pilgrimage up north to finally lay rest to his memories.
The Sword follows close behind. Unable to find purpose from himself, a weapon will learn what it means to be his own.
The Bomb awaits far away. Unable to run from her past, she is forced to confront the nightmares she escaped long ago.

Summary
He was ripped apart once, then given a burial in a dumpster where no one would be able to remember him. Then he was haphazardly resurrected, only to be told to live immediately after. He had lived such a life that he was never taught how to be a person, let alone taught how to grieve.
Because how was he supposed to know?
