Summary
“So the Ministry is allowed to kidnap people now?” she said, eyes flaming. “Or just Mudbloods?”
“This has nothing to do with your blood status. You are currently evading investigation. Taking you to the Ministry to face a judge is perfectly legal.”
“And does this judge happen to wear a white mask and black robes in his leisure time?” Hermione shot back, regarding his red and black uniform.
“Not if you complete the task required of you.”
“So you’re threatening me.”
“I’m offering you a deal,” he bit out. “If you’re smart, you’ll take it.”Draco Malfoy's best friend, the new Lord Chancellor, is dying. The ancient rune that secured his rise to power has begun consuming him, and only one witch alive may know how to stop it: Hermione Granger. Fifteen years after the fall of Voldemort, Draco is sent to retrieve Granger by any means necessary.
Features competent Hermione, a dangerous Draco running from his supremely inconvenient feelings, and an unforgiving magic system.

Summary

Summary
Conventional wisdom maintains that the common domestic dragon (d. domesticus) is aggressive by nature.
In Hermione Granger’s professional observations, such behavior can be mitigated through proper care and keeping, which begins with three simple rules:
1. Mind the hatchling.
2. Feed regularly.
3. Approach slowly.Unfortunately for Hermione, "slowly" has never been her preferred methodology.
When a pediatric file lands in the already-teetering pile on Healer Granger’s desk, she can't bring herself to refuse the case—not when the child has been turned away from St. Mungo’s for reasons no one is willing to explain and bears a blood curse that shouldn't be possible.
Only after taking the case does she learn that her newest patient is, to her mounting consternation, Draco Malfoy's son.

Summary
First, he stretches. Then, he exercises. He eats breakfast, and watches the street he lives on come to life -- the old man and his corgi, the baristas at the coffee shop, the woman who jogs, the daughter and father, and the Indian grocer all making their appearance. Then, he showers, shaves, dresses, and heads to his job as an Auror, where he has been on desk duty ever since he was pulled from the field because of The Incident.
Draco lives his life by his Ministry mandated Mind Healer routines, and he is trying to get back to being Potter's left-hand man, but the cannonball to his careful regimen comes in the form of a very cranky Hermione Granger.
Banter, fluff, eventual smut, an ensemble cast of friends and family and weddings and babies. Told in mostly Draco's POV, but the occasional random one, because who says Draco is the most reliable of narrators?
It’s a character-driven slow burn.
