Summary
First was Maisie Evansdale, a twenty-four-year-old female who was found drained of blood and missing her small intestine on the floor of Gotham High’s gymnasium.
Next was Owen Halfast, a twenty-year-old male found missing a left foot and a right hand in the amphitheater in Robinson Park. Both prostitutes, working in Crime Alley, reported missing and found within a month. Now this.
Thompson had been reported missing forty-six days ago by Cherie, a scrawny redhead who solicited on Third Avenue. The report was brief in the Gotham City Police Department’s files — just the bare minimum of a name and general physical description.
Bruce’s files, however, contained photos, a record of movement from the last six months, and a list of Clarisse’s regular clients.
Tim didn’t have to wonder who was keeping that information fresh.
detective tim is on the job! and jason is trying his best.

Summary
B. WALDORF, the card says, embossed in silver print, and Dan commits that to memory. He’ll probably never see her again, but even so, B. WALDORF etches a space in his brain ten times larger than any five-foot-two socialite should be able to.
He’s surprisingly okay with that.
(or,
Dan is a bartender and Blair is the obnoxiously rich customer who keeps coming in to see him and it's casual, okay, it definitely doesn't mean she's in love.)

Summary
“I’d like to offer you a deal.”
Daniel snorts. “And what? All it’ll cost is my immortal soul?”
Le Bail raises an eyebrow in amusement. “I thought you didn’t have one of those.”
Daniel gets one chance to do the night over and save his little brother but the task proves much more difficult than he thought.

Summary
Chuck buys Henry his first bowtie and a three-piece purple suit to match.
Dan buys Henry his first baseball glove and comes over every Friday afternoon to play catch.
Blair watches them play together and keeps thinking back to when she'd asked Dan if he didn't think it would matter that her baby was another man's child so many years ago.
She remembers how, in that much too earnest way of his, he'd said, "It wouldn't to me."
