He wonders if his fans could see that, the pain in his eyes, the uncertainty in his voice and the confusion in his actions, “Because if he loved him in those seven years and during the time we were together,” Jungkook continues, the whole room silent as they listen to what he has to say.
He looks down, feeling himself on the verge of breaking down as a painful squeeze arises from his chest, “What about me?” Jungkook asks, looking back up at the camera as if it was him - as if it was Yoongi he was talking to, “Where was I?”
(or Jungkook and Yoongi grew up, and grew apart.)

"Wait, are you flirting with me?"
Hoseok, struck by the honest curiosity in the man's voice, frowns in confusion, unsure how to answer the strange question.
People don’t ask if you’re flirting with them, they simply know, don’t they?
While Hoseok is glad that he hadn’t been rejected, maybe that would have been best if he’s dealing with someone who is socially inept.
Then again, this someone is extremely cute. The cuter ones are always a little dull. This, he knows personally.
"…yes," Hoseok draws the word out carefully.
The white haired stranger sighs, finally releasing the hem of his cardigan to wring out his hands. "I'm sorry. I've never really been on the receiving end of flirtations from another male. Uh. This is actually my first official foray into the world of homosexuality and I'm not sure how I'm meant to proceed with finding a willing partner to explore my potential sexual ambivalence with. I hope this won't complicate things for you," he finally ends, inhaling deeply from lack of oxygen.

Hoseok just wants to get laid for the night. And Yoongi isn't his usual type by far, but he's willing to make a few exceptions... even if Yoongi is a little peculiar.

Summary
One thing that Seokjin’s learned after knowing Yoongi for so long is that if he doesn’t want to talk about it, he really doesn’t want to talk about it, and he’ll do anything and everything to dodge the conversation. It’s why it’s so frustrating to deal with him sometimes; he never wants to talk about things, and if Seokjin’s being honest, he too doesn’t want to talk about things, which means that it’s highly possible for the both of them to just exist beautifully in Not-Talking-About-Things harmony. Hoseok and Namjoon have told them repeatedly that it isn’t healthy or mature for them to be acting like this, which is why Seokjin, being the older one, is out here trying his best.
But Yoongi is stubborn on good days and a downright pain in the ass on bad ones, and after three more times shooting down Seokjin’s attempts to talk about it, Seokjin decides to do what any self-respecting man would:
He talks to his girlfriend about it.
(Or: College AU where Yoongi writes an unhinged pining song, and Seokjin just can't get it out of his head.)
