Summary
Years after leaving the Black household, Sirius is fired, severely indebted to his parents, and seemingly out of options. Luckily for him, a strange offer is made to him in the London Underground by way of a game of Slaps.
James refuses to let his best friend enter some dodgy game getaway by himself, even if he has his own problems to deal with. So he joins him in calling the odd number on the card Sirius was given.
Remus, who is chronically ill and overworked, is exhausted of all his money and energy on a constant basis. So testing the waters of something new might be his only chance to catch a break.
And Peter, who has a mother who relies on him and a trail of failed business ventures in his wake, enters the game to provide him and his family a life worth living.

Summary
“You gave me-” James started. He didn’t like the feeling of the dried blood clinging to his mouth. “I ate. Someone.”
“Yes. You’re welcome.” he said, putting his book down on the table.
“I don’t do that anymore.” James said in a rush. Proving it to himself. He didn’t. Something went through the guy's eyes, something that looked a lot like understanding.
“You know you’re an Eater, right?” he checked. James nodded.
“You know you’ll die when you don’t eat?” After a little moment, James nodded again. The guy looked at him, his face impossible to read.
or, James wants to kill himself so he doesn't have to kill anymore. Regulus tries to change his mind while he drives him home across the country

Summary
Sirius was proud to say he still knew quite a lot about his brother. It took effort (and maybe one too many sleepless nights spent under the invisibility cloak) to keep it that way, but he treasured that knowledge.
He knew that his brother didn’t play with his books. All of his books were covered in notes, but he never let anyone see what he was scribbling there. Never once has he lent a single book from his own collection, always coming up with clever excuses whenever his classmates asked to borrow something. He protected his thoughts like they were a project straight from the Department of Mysteries every single time, and that has remained one of the things Sirius didn’t get to know about his brother.
So right now, staring at the book Prongs had in his hands, Sirius didn’t know what he should do. Send an owl to St. Mungo’s so they could save his friend from his inevitable death, or to the funeral parlour, because the only way someone would get Regulus’ book was over his dead body. And it was his book. Probably the only muggle book he owned, given to him by Sirius on his 11th birthday.
(Or: Sirius accidentally finds about about James and Regulus being a thing, but its cool)

Summary
An ulterior motive had rapidly taken shape in James’s mind from the minute he had first seen Regulus, and had only solidified the more time he spent with him here in this raucous, smelly, dander-filled kennel.
He liked the animals in the shelter, really. He just thought he might like their prickly caretaker more.
---
A modern!AU one-shot in which James, a dog person, suspects he might just be becoming a cat person after meeting Regulus, a volunteer at the local animal shelter.

Summary
"I'm a dead man."
Remus knew what he needed doing, but he cursed anyway. There was no winning when half the men on deck had been swept overboard from hellish waves.
After a shipwreck plunges him into the stormy sea, a shimmering blur of pale skin and dark scales drags him ashore, only for James Potter and Peter Pettigrew to find this waterlogged Pirate.
This story is centered around multiple POVs, set in 1720 in a seaside village in Britain.
