Not even because every flat surface in the Owl House was now covered in somebody else’s junk: Amity’s books, Luz’s journals, Hunter’s abandoned sewing projects, Willow’s plants creeping where plants absolutely should not creep.
No, she knew it because the house sounded different at night now, and she couldn’t get any uninterrupted sleep.

I like girls
Hi… I’ve never been on reddit but I have so much stuff I can’t say out loud. Maybe this place will listen cause no one else does.
I’m fifteen. I’m a girl. I like girls. Like, like-like. I’ve never said that out loud.
I realized it last year when I was hanging out with one of my friends. The sun was out and she just looked so pretty. We stopped being friends after I tried to tell her I liked her, so I haven’t told any ever since. My parents already don’t like me, I’m a “problem child.” Whatever that means. I thought I could ignore it and just focus on school and dance, but now there’s another girl I think I like. I want my brain to leave me alone. We met at a TWICE concert and I haven’t stopped thinking about her. She’s so pretty, I just want to smash her face in. I can never be with her though. My parents have already been looking for a nice (or not so nice) chaebol boy for me to settle down with, marry within my class y'know? I think that’s bullshit. I bet they wouldn’t even notice if I ran off.

Rumi crawled forward shakily until she was sitting at the edge.
It was even more dizzying when she got up close. She clenched her eyes shut, refusing to look directly at the ground below. Your friends will never accept you, so what purpose do you have if you can’t fix yourself? You failed all those people. Somewhere in the back of her head, Rumi couldn’t tell if the voice was hers, or something else. It sounded like her. It didn’t matter though, because it was right. A tear finally fell down her cold cheek and landed on her hand. She whimpered softly.Or, Rumi runs from the Golden performance and the voices in her head get the better of her. Mira is just in time.

She set her phone away and rubbed at her dry eyes. The penthouse was eerily quiet when she was the only one around. She reached up to run a hand through her hair. Oh, right. That's why she was still up. She was waiting on Rumi.
Rumi, who had clearly gotten caught up with something. Or fallen asleep.Or, Mira needs her extensions redone. She asks Rumi to do it like she normally does, but Rumi loses track of time. Mira's RSD gets the better of her.
