Zhang Hao needs to be loved, to fill the void that has been inside him his entire life. But his identity has to be hidden for the sake of his safety, and he's never had the luxury of a close friend or lover that would understand just how much is at stake for loving him.
But Sung Hanbin appears. Beautiful, bright Hanbin that has nothing but love inside of him to give. Hanbin who sees him come home after murdering a man and worries more about whether he got hurt than what he did to kill them. Hanbin who will fret over the few scrapes from the knife he uses to slit someone's throat. Hanbin who carefully bandages him up, promising to kiss his injuries better.
Hanbin deserves more than what Zhang Hao can give him. He cannot let him get tarnished by the unforgiving world he surrounds himself in. He deserves to shine, to let the world know of him—not to lie in the shadows with Zhang Hao.
Sung Hanbin is a burning star. But even the brightest of stars can't fall far from their sky.

Zhang Hao really likes his neighbor Hanbin. He also likes his neighbor's son, Gyuvin. It made perfect sense to agree to watch over him for a day, and maybe impress the beautiful man with how good he was at parenting. What could go wrong?
____“I already told you, it’s fine,” Zhang Hao smiled, empathetically patting his arm. “Taking care of Gyuvin for a day is going to be a breeze. He’s such a sweetheart, we’ll have a lot of fun.”
“Haha,” Hanbin smiled, strained, as his child finally managed to hop onto the counter and turn on the sink. “Yeah.”
“It will be fine,” he asserted once again, walking to Gyuvin and putting him back down before he could duck his head under the stream. “You already have enough on your plate as is, don’t worry about us.”
