Summary
She had been contemplating how to respond when she saw a bunch of old photo strips of Satoru and her tucked into the drawer. He was as rambunctious as always in them. Making silly faces, an arm thrown lazily over her shoulder, grinning widely behind his god-awful sunglasses. Another showed her shoving his face away as he leaned in with an exaggerated smooch. And one captured his scrunched, mid-scream expression as she bit his cheek.
And then—a small grey ultrasound scan. A faint white spot at the centre.
Four years ago, in the middle of college and still learning how to be adults, an unplanned pregnancy changed everything. The loss that followed broke her and Gojo Satoru in ways neither of them knew how to fix. So she did the only thing she could to survive. She left. Him. Their friends. The life they had built together.
Now she’s back. The same city. The same tight knit circle that once felt like home. And at the center of it all, Satoru.
Being drawn into the same circle again forces them to face the grief they buried, the words they never said, and whether what remains between them is only memory… or something that can be rekindled.
