Suddenly, he is so weak, so small, fragile. His face is a shade of pink that Fuuta feels called to, he's sweating and crying, his hair is a mess. His eyes look up at Fuuta like a priest, maybe a god, all devoid of joy, but shining with hope and pleading.
Fuuta can't help but to reach a hand forward, take Mikoto's face gently into his palm. He watches those watery eyes as they blink. He lowers his voice to a whisper with the proximity, "I won't leave," Fuuta responds.
