Summary
Lu Guang had nothing, regardless of the outcome. How fitting. He probably deserved it. He sighed to himself as he watched Cheng Xiaoshi head for the bench. Lu Guang was about to wave and say goodbye, when-
"Yo, Lu Guang! Are you coming or not?" Cheng Xiaoshi invited him over before he could speak. That was new.
"Huh?"
"Come here! You should drink some water, I've got plenty to share." This didn't happen before. Lu Guang paused, hesitant, but then Cheng Xiaoshi looked at him, and he had those horrible puppy-dog eyes. God damn it.
---OR: Lu Guang's first attempt of time travelling isn't going the way it should be. That's to say, everything is going great! Which is very, very bad. It doesn't help that he's being forced into being loved and cherished.
This is partially a character study, partially some self-indulgent hurt/comfort, and most likely entirely doomed.
