Summary
Someone is there, in the back of the restaurant, a cook— body lean and cut, wiping greasy hands on a rag that hangs from his front pocket. His head is down, with beads of sweat gathering on the back of his neck from the heat of the stoves. Ink black hair falls over his eyes, obscuring Sieun from seeing the entirety of his face. A second or two pass, a torturous eternity, and the man’s head tilts up. Warm lights catch a cheekbone, sharper than Sieun was expecting to see, but nonetheless familiar. Then dark brown irises, so dark they’re nearly black.
Suho.
Sieun thinks he’s going to throw up.
Standing on numb legs, he does the only thing he knows how to do in the moment. He runs.

Summary
Jisung watches as Minho tosses his ball cap aside and lowers himself onto his back. His eyes are immediately drawn to—oh damn, is that—okay, wearing grey sweatpants at the gym should be illegal. Flushed, he quickly looks away and up to Minho's chest, which feels safer for some reason. The material of his black t-shirt is thin, and it pulls taut around his body as he shuffles along the bench until he's in the right position beneath the barbell. His pecs are pleasantly round. Jisung swallows, distracted. He can see the outline of Minho's nip—
"If you'd like to keep staring, Han Jisung," Minho says lightly, "you can make yourself useful and spot me while you're at it."
Jisung's head snaps up. "I wasn't," he lies, trying his best to ignore Minho's charming little huff of a laugh and getting up without even questioning it. Once he's standing at the head of Minho's bench, he awkwardly holds his hands out towards the bar.
This is a terrible idea.

Jisung turns his head to give Minho an angry squint. “I feel like you’re trying to trick me. I don’t know how, or for what reason, but you are.”
Minho isn’t looking at him anymore, scrolling on his phone, gracing Jisung with his ridiculous side profile. “I would never trick you,” he says, voice as flat as the plains of Colorado.
“That sounds like something someone who’s trying to trick me would say.”
“Jisung.”
“What.”
“Come here.” He clicks his phone off and sets it on the nightstand between their beds, then pats his thigh.
“What?” Jisung short circuits for a moment. Minho wants him to… what? Sit on his thigh? Isn’t that a little forward? That has to be skipping at least ten steps. They’ve only known each other for, like, less than 72 hours. And a majority of that was spent antagonizing one another.
“I said come here.” And he pats his thigh again as if that’s a completely normal thing to do.
