Summary
Tony just needs to figure out a way to get the kid some absurdly over-the-top insanely expensive gift without him feeling like a charity case. It’s not like that, it’s not charity, it’s just… basic Christmas.

Summary
On a perfectly average Tuesday night – as far as any night can be called perfectly average anymore nowadays – the sky goes pitch black above Manhattan, a violent storm rattles the roofs, vivid blue and purple lightning bolts illuminate the clouds.
Once it is over, as suddenly as it began, news trickles in of difficult-to-explain phenomena occurring worldwide: The statue of liberty has changed color to a bright pink, an exact replica of the great wall of China has appeared across the Sahara desert, it rains feathers in Copenhagen for several hours, every single stapler on Sumba Island turns into a coat hanger, and Tony Stark wakes up from an impossible-to-wake-up-from coma. -

Summary
An unusually hot summer quickly escalates into the worst damn summer Peter has ever had, one out of five stars on yelp, zero out of ten dentists recommend. And he isn’t talking about it. Ever. Months later, during an unusually cold November, Tony and Happy are attempting to bond with the kid but don’t understand why the harder they try, the more Peter seems to be pulling away.

Or: Four times something bad happens, and three times Peter opens up about it. Because he’ll never ever admit he accidentally broke Tony’s favorite mug. -

Summary
Forty minutes into her book signing, Pepper’s hand is cramping up. Seeing herself perfunctorily smiling back at her from cover after cover after cover, is getting at her. It isn’t often that she wishes for someone to interrupt and insist on a photo. Or for one of these large, heavy bookcases to topple over and fall on top of her.
The next woman who shuffles up to her table, book clutched in her arms, might just be her selfie-saving-grace. She certainly has the wild-eyed look of starstruck-ness. Pepper smiles and holds out a hand to take the book from her.
The woman doesn’t relinquish it. “Ms. Stark,” she murmurs in a low voice. “My nephew Peter ran away. And I need the Avengers to find him.”
Pepper knows how to respond to requests like these. Kind but firm. Thirteen thousand people go missing in New York every year, and it’s heartbreaking, but the Avengers can’t possibly—
“Trust me,” the woman says. “You’ll want to hear me out.” -

She asks, perhaps less diplomatically than she should: “Tony. Is he your son?”
“My god, the number of times I’ve been asked that,” Tony says, and then proceeds to go into a long-winded explanation that in no way answers Pepper’s question. And then he asks: “Hey Pep, can you fly a chopper?”
“I already asked her, she can’t,” Peter says.
