Summary
I want a Goemon-centred story built on the idea that “Ishikawa Goemon” is not his birth name but something more like a title or designation. A boy trained to handle blades from the time he could stand, raised to become better with a sword than anyone else, and eventually given Zantetsuken (Goemon’s legendary sword, famous for being able to cut almost anything) and made the thirteenth Ishikawa Goemon. (Basically something with a slightly self-contained Lupin III OVA / TV Special / film sort of feel.)
The idea is that “Ishikawa Goemon” turns out to have been the private assassin kept by one powerful family for generations.The being called Goemon is a bloodstained blade the family has used whenever they needed political enemies, business rivals, criminal opponents, and so on disposed of.
