Summary
He tapped the back of his hand under Evan’s chin, demanding his attention. So Evan stopped recording and turned to face Barty. “With your eyes open, sweetheart.”
He clicked his tongue. “They’re very open.”
“Kay, I’ll help you out, because I’m just really fuckin’ sweet-”
“Your mom tell you that one?”
Barty flicked his ear, “You’re currently sitting under a tree, with me, and that stupid ass camera. But instead of recording literally anything else, you’re focused on James fucking Potter. Who is being bossed around by a five-two blonde, and you look…fuckin’ enamored.”
or,

Summary
After being suffocated by his hometown for a little too long, Barty decides to take a leap of faith and leave his friends and everything be knows, venturing to Hogsmeade; a town that, although still small, is a far cry from the stifling, limiting atmosphere and impossible expectations of Godric's Hollow.
After hitching a ride with a charming, enigmatic stranger, Barty is introduced to the kind of life, and love, that he never thought possible for himself and is finally able to break from and deal with the demons of his past whilst discovering something, or someone, that he didn't know he was missing.
