    Summary

The students of Gotham Academy were confused. It was International Friendship Week, and it was Gotham’s turn to host. Except no one wanted Gotham to host, not even Gotham! So the Directors of the Friendship Conference decided that it was in everybody’s best interest to skip the City of Crime and go straight to the City of Lights. Everyone thought that it was the perfect idea! Except for Paris. The Gothamites couldn’t help but laugh and scoff at the Parisians insistence that Gotham would be a much safer place than Paris, and nothing should change. And everyone, even one Damian Wayne, was thrilled when the petition went through, and they boarded the plane for Paris.
And then…a giant baby…tried to eat the Eiffel Tower…they should have stayed in Gotham.

I love this so much. It's a refreshing new take, it explores miraculous lore and the depth of Hawkmoth's effect on the city, it ties really well with DC lore, and the characters feel real! I am in tears and it's so complete and wonderful!

    Summary

Jason had known Louise for years. She’d been his getaway driver, his alibi, a co-conspirator. He had bailed her out of the trouble she got herself into more times than he could count. With a straight face she told Batman she had never even heard of the Red Hood, while he was passed out on her couch. He confirmed to many an HR department that she definitely worked for him, uh-huh, five years in accounts? Absolutely, best accountant he’d ever had. She’d been ‘borrowing’ his vacuum cleaner for years now. He attended her grandpa's funeral.

Boyfriends and girlfriends came and went. Heroes and villains, dubious costumes and harebrained schemes.

    They remained.

    Summary

Sorted into Slytherin with the whisper of prophecy around her, Hermione refuses to bow down to the blood prejudices that poison the wizarding world. Carving her own path forward, Hermione chooses to make her own destiny, not as a Muggleborn, a halfblood, or as a pureblood... but as a New Blood, and everything the mysterious term means.

    ---

New Blood is a canon AU rewrite with Hermione sorted into Slytherin. Featuring: covens, ritual magic, world building, goblin culture, excessive amounts of science and logic and math attempting to be applied to magical concepts to make them make sense, teenage girls growing up and all that entails, a badass Hermione Granger, and far too many words and plotlines

THIS HAS AMAZING WORLDBUILDING! Actual character arcs and motivations. Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone has successes. I LOVE where this has gone and I look forward to the rest of the series!

    Summary

“Taking care of somebody else made me feel good. Like discovering you’re more than you thought you were. More even than you hoped to be.” - Bette Greene

In another world, Chisaki Kai is a ruthless, cruel man who stops at nothing to rid the world of quirks. In this one, however, he draws lines: one being Eri. He cares for her, treats her like his own daughter. And for his precious daughter, he needs somebody to help care for her, somebody who isn’t one of the Eight Bullets or a member of the Yakuza.

Enter one Midoriya Izuku: quirkless, protective, and the perfect candidate to be her babysitter. Now if only Chisaki could just stop worrying about the boy, too, that would be great. (No, Chronostasis, he does not have ‘paternal instincts,’ thank you very much!)

Or: Midoriya Izuku (accidentally) turns the Yakuza into the good morally grey guys.

I like this story. It’s feel good, but intense, and there’s some really well thought out characterizations, actions with consequences, and plot points. Currently at Chp 43 but I’m excited to see where this goes!

AMAZING Villain Izuku story! Actually follows through with consequences of your actions, and has actions, reactions, and emotions on top of intellect!
AND it’s complete! 13/10, would recommend
