The real problem is the way Spamton hasn't even greeted him, hasn't looked his way once, hasn't even bothered to keep up some sort of pretense that the two of them are on good terms and working together as partners. What type of message does that send to everyone? There’s a certain image they have to maintain, if anyone’s meant to believe in their vision and authority. Glaring daggers at Spamton from across the room, Tenna sips at the magnesium in his glass. It’s less of a sip and more like a mouthful – the carbonation making him regret the move instantly. Too late now. The conversation Spamton is caught up in must be riveting, considering he hasn’t moved on from the gaggle of Addisons that keep crowding him. Twenty minutes. Standing there, talking up a storm for twenty minutes. He shouldn’t have come back at all if he’s going to hang around his old colleagues the whole time.

Summary
There is still need for heroes in Hyrule following the eradication of Calamity Ganon, though their duties may be somewhat different than they used to be. Link and Sidon are called upon to defeat straggling monsters and rebuild while feelings and complications build in the wake.
“I've just got to get the jump on you, that's all. Get you in a hold before you have time to react.” Sidon placed a hand on Link’s neck in a mock attempt at putting him in such a position, his nails brushing against his jaw before coming to rest on his throat. He felt Link’s Adam's Apple bob under his fingertips as he gulped.
He turned his head back toward Sidon and looked up at him, struggling to contain the lust dripping from his features and failing to contain the rapidly spreading flush from climbing all the way up to the tips of his ears. Sidon fell still, suddenly aware that he had stumbled upon something he shouldn’t have. He could scarcely breathe. The look on Link’s face was the most intoxicating drug in the world. Addicting, drawing him in, coercing him to pursue it, deepen it. He felt a heat climbing to his own cheeks. He hadn’t intended to do that to him, but now that he had he wanted more.
